INEX Events’ principal Patrick Burns has designed and managed iconic public events that have captured the popular imagination.
His successes include the 1992 launch of the South Bank precinct in Brisbane and the 2001 Goodwill Games opening and closing ceremonies.
Patrick has chosen to remain state-based, where his consummate skills and hands-on approach are continuing to deliver innovative results to a wide range of clients.
His more recent successes include work on the corporate launch of Queensland’s 150th birthday celebrations, Brisbane’s bid for the World Athletics Championships, annual Gartner Symposium for the Asia-Pacific IT community, the Magic Millions Racing Carnival on the Gold Coast, and the heritage Workshops Rail Museum at Ipswich. Within the industry, The Team has become shorthand for The Patrick Burns Team that is now the core of INEX Events.
